A one-on-one process is a series of 1-hour sessions in which we meet regularly to work on your goals.

A one-to-one process is a series of regular 1-hour sessions, where we work together on something you want to change, explore, or move through.

Each process is personal.

You might come to work on a physical condition such as back pain, chronic fatigue, burn out etc-. Or you could come to work on a traumatic experience that has left a strong imprint on your body, such as an accident, operation, childbirth, serious illness, death of a loved one… or another overwhelming or life-changing event.

Together, we explore what may be holding you back and begin to develop the attention, skills, and capacity needed to move forward in a different way.

This work is a process because many of these patterns are held not only in the mind, but also in the body and nervous system.

It takes time to explore your patterns, learn how to stop / interrupt them, and allow something new to emerge.

Defining your aim and what you want to change

We begin by clarifying what you want to work on and what you would like to change and the patterns that have led you here.

Through the sessions, you start to recognise how past experiences, limiting beliefs, stress, pain, fear, or overwhelm may still be shaping your current reactions, symptoms, and ways of responding.


Identify your patterns and learn how to interrupt / drop them

Once there is more clarity, we begin to work more directly with the patterns themselves. This may include learning to notice where you hold unnecessary tension, where you brace, where you collapse, where you disconnect, or where you keep using effort in ways that are no longer helping you.

You also begin to explore different ways of breathing, moving and staying present, so that your body has the chance to experience something different.

This is where the work becomes practical. Rather than only observing your pattern, you begin to interrupt it in real time.

Over time, your body can start to let go of reactions that may have once been necessary, but are now contributing to pain, exhaustion, fear, overwhelm, or limitation. This is often where new possibilities begin to emerge.


Integration and bringing the work into daily life

As the process continues, what you learn in the sessions begins to carry into your everyday life.

You may start noticing changes in the moments that used to feel automatic, difficult, or overwhelming. This is where the work becomes integrated, not only something you experience during a session, but something you begin to live.

Change is often experienced in simple but meaningful ways, such as:

  • feeling more at ease in your body

  • sleeping more deeply or recovering better

  • having more energy and resilience

  • experiencing less pain or less physical tension

  • feeling emotions without becoming overwhelmed by them

  • responding with more clarity, steadiness, and choice

  • feeling more open, grounded, and present in daily life

Over time, the body can begin to find a greater sense of balance, safety, health, and freedom.

And that is why this work is a process. Not because change is slow, but because the body often needs time, repetition, and support to learn a different way of being.
